Account Deletion

1. What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your Firebase authentication account (Google or Apple sign-in).
- Your cloud save backup (focus sessions, coins, pets, habitats, achievements, settings).
- Your profile information (email address, language preference, premium status, platform).
Local app data stored on your device is also cleared. Once deleted, your progress cannot be recovered.
2. How to Delete Your Account In-App
The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the app:
- Open Focus Pet and go to the Settings screen.
- Scroll to the Account section at the top.
- Tap “Delete Account”.
- Confirm the deletion in the prompt that appears.
Your account and all cloud data will be permanently deleted immediately.
3. Request Deletion by Email
If you no longer have access to the app or encounter any issues, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

Please include the following in your email:
- The email address associated with your Focus Pet account (Google or Apple).
- Subject line: Account Deletion Request.
We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.
4. What Is Not Deleted
The following data is not removed by account deletion:
- Purchase receipts — transaction records held by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) are subject to their respective retention policies and cannot be deleted by us.
- Anonymised analytics events— aggregated, non-identifiable usage data that may be retained per Firebase Analytics' standard retention period.
